To the House of Commons.

The petition of passengers of Feltham Train Station declares that the proposed decision of South Western Railway to close the ticket office in Feltham Train Station will have a detrimental effect on local communities; notes that disabled and elderly residents already face barriers to use of our rail network that appears set to worsen under these proposals; further that the Rail Minister stated that ‘train operators will need to look to’ job losses, threatening job security; and further that South Western Railway and Network Rail are not doing enough to ensure that easy-to-use digital ticketing technology is available in time for the closure of ticket offices.

The petitioners therefore request that the House of Commons urge the Government to halt the closure of the ticket office in Feltham Train Station and ticket offices across the rail network.

And the petitioners remain, etc.

Keep Feltham Ticket Office Open
