Seema Malhotra attended the Good Ideas Studios, an initiative run by Meta – the parent company of Facebook – to support small business growth, offering local businesses free in-person training and support to help build their digital marketing and creative strategies. She spoke to Meta employees about how they were helping small businesses and spoke to SME owners about Labour’s plans to make the UK the best place to start a business.
She said: “It was fantastic to be in Edinburgh yesterday at the Meta Good Ideas Studio, seeing first-hand how they’re supporting small business uses digital tools to grow and prosper.
“The Labour Party will work with businesses to make the UK the best place to start a business through our industrial strategy and entrepreneurship review.”
