Following the sad passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II last week, I wanted to update you all in Feltham and Heston on details of how members of the public can visit Her Majesty’s closed coffin while she is Lying-in-State in Westminster Hall in Parliament.

The Government has published information about how to visit the Lying-In-State and where to queue, which is available online at: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/attending-ceremonial-events-for-the-lying-in-state-and-the-state-funeral-of-her-majesty-the-queen/her-majesty-the-queens-lying-in-state-at-the-palace-of-westminster-houses-of-parliament.

The guidance covers the queue route, how to get to the queue, what you should bring and not bring, security, accessibility and other useful information. Below is a map of the queue route. Volunteers will be on hand and there are places to stop to get some food and also toilet facilities. The coffin will be Lying in State until 6.30am on Monday morning.

I hope that many of you are able to attend to pay your respects to Her Majesty, and I will keep you updated with any further information.

Yours,

Seema
