Seema Malhotra MP and Mayor Sadiq Khan in Cranford

In a visit to Cranford, the London Mayor gave his sport to the launch of the Feltham and Heston youth campaign to encourage young people to come out and vote and then visit a voter registration drive in Hounslow town centre.

Seema Malhotra will announced her call for a new Cranford plan of action, saying “Cranford is the gateway from London to Heathrow and we need to work to support our businesses, tackle litter, anti social behaviour, increase policing and restore pride in our street scene.”

Seema Malhotra says:

“We have a lot to fight for in this election. Our country needs a Labour Government. Polls show the scale of support for Labour’s Manifesto, it is clear that people are seeking an alternative to five more years of Tory Government.”

“Theresa May wants to make this election all about Brexit. But we know the next five years must also address the reality of the Government’s record and that’s what May wants to hide. Our public services and schools are underfunded. London now has the highest waiting times for A&E, living standards are falling and the house building under the Tories has slowed to its lowest level since the 1920s. Britain deserves better.”

Sadiq Khan met with and gave a speech to local members and activists before joining in local campaigning.
