The Punjabi Society of The British Isles has announced it will honour Seema Malhotra MP as its new patron.
The Society, which was founded in 1928, is established to bringing together the Punjabis in the UK and Ireland as well as promote interest in all aspects of Punjabi language, art and culture. It is non-sectarian and non-political in nature.
Seema Malhotra, Labour & Cooperative MP for Feltham and Heston, said “I am honoured to be asked to be the Society’s first female patron, and to support all its efforts for good causes.”
