Seema Malhotra MP yesterday pressured government ministers over cuts to public health spending.

Local authorities were recently given responsibility for public health spending in England; only to have the available funds cut by £200 million.  This is widely regarded as a false economy, not least by the cross party Health Select Committee.  The Hansard record of the exchange is online.
