Seema with John Vary and Chrissy Levett
It was great to speak recently at the Conference of Higher Education Art and Design (CHEAD), held at Kingston University, on the future of creative graduates. I spoke alongside alongside Kingston’s Vice-Chancellor Professor Steven Spier, Lord David Puttnam, the Turner Prize-winning artist Professor Elizabeth Price, Chrissy Levett of Creative Consciousness and John Lewis futurologist John Vary.

It’s clear that creative thinking and creative skills really are central to the development of future curricula across higher education. Education institutions have a responsibility to produce adaptable and employable students, resilient and able to add value to all sectors and jobs of the future.
