I was delighted to visit Project Turn-Over recently and to observe part of their programme “No Shame in Talking”.
Project-Turnover is an innovative project that has an impact on many young people’s lives in the local area. They offer a 12-week course to teenagers who are at risk of crime and through core rugby values they are given the support and skills needed to be reintegrated into education and take control of their life.
Project Turn-over have an 80% success rate and many young people have left the programme feeling stronger both physically and mentally, knowing their worth and being equipped to deal with future challenges. After the completion of the project, they become lifelong members of the Turn-Over family and are offered support for as long as they need it.
