I wrote to the Secretary of State for Education and the Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport, calling on the Government to take action in order to support children study at home who do not have access to a computer or the internet. You can read my letter below.

We have estimated, at a minimum, in Hounslow that 1000 children are in need of a computer and around 500 will need broadband too. As a result, we have set up a project to try and plug the gap locally for children, sourcing second hand computers through donations from local residents and organisations. You can find out more information about this initiative and how to donate here: http://www.hounslowspromise.org/connectingkidshome.html
