Seema Malhotra, the Member of Parliament for Feltham and Heston, today hosted a breakfast roundtable for the Business Stay-Up campaign in her role as Chair of the APPG on Entrepreneurship.
Business Stay-Up is a research-led campaign to raise awareness of the pressures and challenges business owners face as they seek to survive and scale, and what can be done to increase the probability of success.
This event will:
Consider what can be done to realise the policy recommendations of the Management Matters report;
Discuss wider issues of how to reduce unnecessary business failure;
Consider avenues for future research as part of the Business Stay-Up campaign.
The event will be hosted by Seema Malhotra. Seema is MP for Feltham and Heston and a former Shadow Chief Secretary. She is a Member of the Committee on Exiting the European Union, and the Commons Reference Group on Representation and Inclusion. Seema is the Chair of the APPG for Entrepreneurship.
The event is supported by the Association of Business Executives (ABE), which was founded more than 40 years ago with a clear social purpose to improve business education for aspiring entrepreneurs in developing countries, many of which are now high-growth economies.
