This week The British Medical Association, The Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health and Royal College of Psychiatrists called on the government to ban solitary confinement of children and young offenders.
Seema Malhotra MP hosted an event in Parliament to discuss solitary confinement of children and young offenders in the justice system. Seema Malhotra MP supported supports the campaign and evidence and will be raising the issue in Parliament by calling for a full and extensive debate in the House of Commons.
The event was attend by esteemed leaders in the medical and judicial field, as well as other parliamentarians and Peers.
